3-Day Cultural Orientation for New Missionaries in France
Purpose:
To prepare new missionaries for life and ministry in France by equipping them with cultural insight, relational tools, and spiritual encouragement—while offering rest, hospitality, and local connection.
Day 1 : Foundations and First Impressions
- Understanding French Culture
- How does French culture challenge and bless my worldview?
Day 2 : Realities of Mission Life in France
- What shocks and surprises missionaries most?
- Church culture, secularism and religion in France
Day 3 : Practical Tools & Spiritual Preparation
- Building relationships and trust with French people
- Spiritual life and rhythms for long-term fruitfulness in France
What’s Included
- 2 nights lodging at Barac Shalom (private guest room, access to pool, garden, home setting)
- All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee breaks)

- 5 themed sessions, informal discussion, and optional counseling
